Former Church Worker Pleads Guilty to Lewd Acts with a Minor

 

ABILENE, TX – Former Abilene church worker Jeff Berry has pleaded guilty to child sex crime charges, and was sentenced to probation. 

According to KTXS Berry was accused of touching the privates of an underage boy in 1996 when Berry worked for the Pioneer Drive Baptist Church in Abilene.

He has been sentenced to 10-years probation, a $2,000 fine, court costs, and 180 days in jail.

Also Berry has to turn himself in on or before September 20, 2020 and hes been instructed not to have any contact with the victim.
