Police Chase Ends In Officer Involved Shooting

 

MIDLAND, TX – The Texas Rangers are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Midland on Tuesday evening.

According to CBS7, authorities were chasing a vehicle that culminated at the intersection of Garfield and Front St. During the chase the suspect vehicle struck another, and the driver of that car was taken to the hospital to be treated for unknown injuries. His current condition is currently unknown.

DPS did not provide details of the incident, but they did confirm that the chase ended with an officer-involved shooting and two suspects in custody. It. is unknown at this time why the chase was initiated.

DPS confirmed no troopers were injured in the incident.
