UPDATE: Amber Alert Canceled After Children Found Safe in Back of Stolen Car

 

FARMERS BRANCH, TX — The Farmers Branch Police Department has issued an amber alert for two missing children. 

According to the alert, on Sunday, March 1, the Farmers Branch Police Department issued a notice that they were searching for Princess J Scarlett and Preston Jeremy. 

Scarlett is a black female. She is four years old three feet and 35 lbs. 

Jeremy is a 5-year-old black male. He is four foot tall and and weighs 42 lbs. 

Scarlett was last seen in a white shirt with a mermaid on the front and also with multicolored beads in her head. 

Jeremy has brown eyes and a brown Mohawk. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, ripped blue jeans, and black Nike shoes.

Officials are searching for a burgundy 2016 GMC Terrain. The license plate on the vehicle is HFL1525. The vehicle has a red passenger door and is missing front bumper. 

The suspect was last seen in the metroplex area. Officials believe these children’s life’s are in immediate danger.

UPDATE MARCH 2, 2020 8:33 A.M.: 

According to NBC DFW, the AMBER alert was canceled after the two children were found safe. 

New information reveals that they had been in the backseat of the vehicle when it was stolen. 

The suspect is still at large.
