Sheriff's Deputies Seize 3.1 lbs of the Devil's Lettuce During Traffic Stop

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Friday containing three individuals in the 1700 block of Koberlin Street.

Deputies had probable cause to search the suspect vehicle. After a short search deputies were able to locate 3.1 pounds of marijuana, a quantity of THC oil, methamphetamine, and controlled prescription medication. The driver as well as the other two passengers were all arrested on various charges, and booked into the Tom Green County Jail. 

Justin Phillips, the driver, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana >4oz < 5lbs, Possession of Controlled Substance PG 2 > 1g, and one City of San Angelo warrant.

Maggie McDonald, a passenger, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana >4oz < 5lbs and Possession of Controlled Substance PG 2 < 1g.

Brandy Korn, a passenger, was arrested for Possession Controlled Substance PG 1 < 1g, Possession Controlled Substance PG3 <28g, and Possession of Marijuana <2oz.
