Defective Headlight Leads to Arrest of Suspect Wanted for Assaulting a Child

 

LUBBOCK, TX – A 22-year-old Midland man wanted for sexual assault of a child was arrested in Lubbock thanks to a broken headlight.

According to CBS7, Ronald Dean Reagan was driving in Lubbock when a police officer observed his vehicle had a defective headlight. The officer pulled over the driver and after taking Reagan’s driver’s license to check his driving status, he learned Reagan had a warrant out of Midland County for sexual assault of a child.

The officer then returned to Reagan’s vehicle and placed him under arrest.
