Alleged San Angelo Perv Arrested After Tip from Val Verde Sheriff's Office

SAN ANGELO, TX – A 42-year-old San Angelo man was arrested Friday after deputies with the Val Verde Sheriff's Office accused him of child sex crimes.

According to the affidavit signed by Justice of the Peace Fred Buck, on February 3, a Sargent with the Val Verde Sheriff's Office wrote an offense report alleging that Raymundo Flores, 42, was involved with a indecent act with a child.

In the initial report, the deputy claimed that someone witnessed Flores lying on the couch, in his home, with a child while both of their pants were down.

The San Angelo Police Department discovered what Flores was accused of and began an investigation of its own. During that investigation, officers met with the witness who told the witness' side of the story.

The witness claimed it happened on January 31. The witness walked into the living room and saw the two lying on the couch with the child covered from the waist down with a blanket. The witness immediately told the child to get up but the child would not move. This is when the witness discovered the child was nude from the waist down.

When asked how many times "this" happened the child said it was not the first and that the child kept quiet due to fear.

When Flores was asked why, Flores stated "it was because his wife was not having sex with him him since the birth of her child and surgery."

Officers later discovered the acts started near the first day of September and continued until January 31. During the assaults the child was molested in many different ways while being under the age of 14.

Flores is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14. He is currently in the Tom Green County Jail. His bond is set at $50,000. If he makes bond he can make no contact with the victim.

Evidently it's okay to troll this site all you want, so long as you don't copy edit the "journalists". Hey Matt, "do" is a verb, "due" is not. Okay, Hyde, remove it again.
