Police: Son Stabbed Man to Stop Assault Against His Mother

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police Department has released a few details regarding the stabbing that took place on Thursday night at 10:12 p.m. in the Crestwood Terrace Apartments, 3130 W. Beauregard Ave.

According to SAPD, the Criminal Investigations Division's preliminary investigation identified the victim as a 27-year-old San Angelo man. In an apartment, a man was assaulting a 35-year-old woman when the woman’s juvenile son stabbed the man to try to end the assault on his mother.

The man was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

Police did not say there were arrests as a result of the stabbing.
