Wanted Fugitive Arrested in San Angelo for Dealing Cocaine

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo Police Department captured a wanted fugitive yesterday.

According to the the affidavit signed by Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard, on December 2, officers had an interaction with Clifton Washington, 48, and learned that he was a wanted fugitive. 

During the arrest, Washington not only led officers on a foot chase but resisted after he was detained. 

Washington was also found with cocaine and items in which you sell cocaine with. 

He was arrested and was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, evading arrest, failure to identify as a fugitive from justice, and resisting arrest. He is currently still in the Tom Green County Jail due to Washington being placed on a United States Marshal Hold.
