Driving While Intoxicated Tops the Weekend's Booking Report

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Thirty-six suspects were arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail over the weekend.

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, the San Angelo Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety made various arrests including:

  • Oscar Bernal was arrested for GJI aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, CPF assault that caused bodily injury to a family member, Intoxicated Manslaughter with a vehicle, MISC ice hold, and a MRP VOP assault that caused bodily injury to a family member at 8:03 a.m. His bond is set at $250,000. 
  • Christopher Correa was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 2:40 a.m. His bond was set at $1,000 and was released at 8:43 a.m. 
  • Laura Mejia-Ramirez was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 3:52 a.m. Her bond was set at $1,000 and was released at 9:13 a.m. 

Out of the 446 beds, 417 inmates are currently in jail as of Monday morning.

The following were booked into the TGCJ on Friday: 

  • Robert Gorman was arrested for forgery of a government instrument, GJI bail jumping, and a MISC bench warrant at 12:44 a.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Thomas Lawson was arrested for four MISC COMM and a MISC FTA at 3:03 a.m. His bond is set at $482. 
  • Jose Martinez was arrested for GOB possession of a controlled substance PG 1 and GOB criminal trespassing at 12:07 p.m. His bond is set at $11,000. 
  • Corby Chitsey was arrested for COMM possession of child pornography at 3:19 p.m. He was released without bond Sunday at 3:43 p.m. 
  • Tiffany McGuire was arrested for VOP criminal trespassing and one MISC CPF at 4:39 p.m. Her bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Alejandro Valdez was arrested for GJI forgery of a financial instrument and MTR possession of a controlled substance at 5:55 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Manalinda Rodriguez was arrested for MTR third or more driving while intoxicated at 6:36 p.m. Her bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Victor Rodriguez was arrested for criminal mischief, failure to identify by giving false information, possession of drug paraphernalia, CPF possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal trespassing, RPR criminal trespassing, and two MISC FTA at 8:11 p.m. His bond is set at $3,298. 

The following were booked into the TGCJ on Saturday: 

  • Isac Castillo was arrested for a MISC VOP at 12:04 a.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Jason Herrera was arrested for assault that caused bodily injury and assault that caused bodily injury to af family member at 12:52 a.m. His bond was set at $3,500 and was released at 11:58 a.m. 
  • Timothy Long was arrested for criminal trespassing at 6:40 a.m. His bond was set at $500 and was released at 1:13 p.m. 
  • Oscar Bernal was arrested for GJI aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, CPF assault that caused bodily injury to a family member, Intoxicated Manslaughter with a vehicle, MISC ice hold, and a MRP VOP assault that caused bodily injury to a family member at 8:03 a.m. His bond is set at $250,000. 
  • Robert Shipman was arrested for COMM third or more driving while intoxicated at 10:20 a.m. He was released without bond Sunday at 10:58 a.m. 
  • Ashley Herrera was arrested for GOB possession of a controlled substance, failure to identify by giving false information, and possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:24 a.m. Her bond was set at $4,920. 
  • Joe Noriega was arrested for public intoxication at 1:33 p.m. His bond was set at $442 and was released at 7:43 p.m. 
  • John Enriquez was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle, evading arrest with a vehicle, and evading arrest with a previous conviction at 2:06 p.m. His bond is set at $22,500. 
  • Melissa Guerra was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a MISC CPF at 2:22 p.m. Her bond was set at $10,000 and was released Sunday at 1:43 p.m. 
  • Kindal Porras was arrested for a MISC VOP at 3:10 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Eric Talton was arrested for aggravated assault to a family member with a weapon at 5:33 p.m. His bond is set at $50,000. 
  • Jordan Chapoy was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at 6:38 p.m. Her bond is set at $30,000. 
  • Lonnie Wooten was arrested for DWLI and a MISC VPTA at 9;36 p.m. His bond was set at $1,318 and was released at 10:28 p.m. 
  • John Sanatore was arrested for public intoxication at 11:31 p.m. His bond was set at $442 and was released Sunday at 4:28 a.m. 

The following were booked into the TGCJ on Sunday: 

  • Christopher Viera was arrested for public intoxication at 1:28 a.m. His bond was set at $442 and was released at 6:13 a.m. 
  • John Juarez was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance at 1:36 a.m. His bond was set at $2,000 and was released at 3:28 a.m. 
  • Christopher Correa was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 2:40 a.m. His bond was set at $1,000 and was released at 8:43 a.m. 
  • Monica Mares was arrested for no DL, possession of drug paraphernalia, four MISC FTA, and a MISC VPTA at 3:44 a.m. Her bond was set at $3,762 and was released at 5:43 a.m. 
  • Laura Mejia-Ramirez was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 3:52 a.m. Her bond was set at $1,000 and was released at 9:13 a.m. 
  • Robert Bonner was arrested for criminal trespassing at 5:10 a.m. His bond was set at $500 and was released at 7:13 a.m. 
  • Shawna Campbell was arrested for GOB criminal trespassing and a MISC CPF at 11:14 a.m. Her bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Edward Virgen was possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance at 5:06 p.m. His bond is set at $1,000. 
  • Janie Samarripa was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana at 5:06 p.m. His bond is set at $1,000. 
  • Anibal Martinez was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance at 7:24 p.m. His bond is set at $1,000. 
  • Fernando Tarango was arrested for possession of marijuana at 7:34 p.m. His bond was set at $1,000 and was released at 9:43 p.m. 
  • Jose Tarango was arrested for reckless driving at 7:45 p.m. His bond was set at $500 and was released at 9:43 p.m. 
  • Carla Valero was arrested for two MISC CPF at 8:44 p.m. She was released without bond at 12:58 a.m. 
  • Matthew Nelson was arrested for driving while intoxicated and three MISC CPF at 10:02 p.m. His bond is set at $1,000.

And to think this illegal killed his own family while in our country illegally. Could have been much worse IMO. We need to close our borders. And if he's on hold for ice why in tf does he have a bond???
