SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police officers are searching for a fugitive Friday evening who ran from officers during a traffic stop.
According to investigating officers, they attempted to stop a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer for an expired registration near the intersection of North St. and Westland around 7 p.m.

Officers said the driver stopped at first then fled. The suspect drove about 8 blocks and abandoned the vehicle.
Police say the found the Trailblazer but were unable to locate the driver.
SAPD officers brought in a K-9 unit and began searhcing for the fugitive.
