Roommate Fight Ends with Multiple Shots Fired and a Pistol Whip

 

ABILENE, TX -- A man was arrested Friday after a gun fight with his roommate at a tire shop. 

According to KTXS, on August 9 the Abilene Police Department were dispatched to a tire shop on S 1st st for the report of multiple shots fired. 

When they arrived they found Terrance Fletcher and his roommate who had just got into a fight. After investigation on the incident police learned that this wasn't the first fight of the day. 

Earlier in the day, the two were at the tire shop and got into an argument. This is when Fletcher pulled out his gun and pistol whipped his roommate causing the gun to go off. 

The two then went to the hospital and were released five hours later. 

This is when the second fight occurred at the tire shop. This time Fletcher pulled out the gun and shot at his roommate. 

When police arrested Fletcher he had the pistol in his back pocket. Fletcher is also a convicted felon. 

He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. He is currently in the Taylor County Jail on a $35,000 bond.
