BALLINGER, TX -- The Runnels County Judge has placed a burn ban for Runnels County.

According to Runnels County Judge Barry Hilliard, a Burn Ban is now in effect for all unincorporated areas of Runnels County.

Hot and dry conditions coupled with plentiful fuel supplies have created a dangerous potential for wildland fires across the county. Contact Runnels County Dispatch at 365-5961 prior to any attended controlled burn.
