First 7-Eleven Armed Robbery Suspect Turns Himself in; Other Two Still At-large

 

ODESSA, TX -- One of the two suspects who robbed the 7-Eleven twice in one night has turned himself in. 

On July 7, the Odessa Police Department were dispatched to the 7-Eleven for the report of an aggravated robbery. 

When they arrived, they talked to the cashier who told them that two Hispanic males came into the store at 9:07 p.m. When they were in there they stolen merchandise and assaulted the clerk. 

They then returned at 9:59 p.m. and stole more merchandise as well as stab the cashier in the arm. 

The suspects got away from the scene in a blue 4-door sedan driven by a woman.

According to CBS7, On July 9 one of the suspects turned himself in. Jovanni Martinez, 17, has been charged with aggravated robbery. 

Police say that they are still searching for two other suspects wanted in connection to the robbery. Anyone with information on their identities is asked to call Detective D. Rocha at 432-335-4933 or Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS and reference Case #19-25889.
