Police Identify Man Murdered at the Red Roof Inn

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police have identified the man believed to have been murdered at a San Angelo hotel over the weekend.

Police say Gilbert Mascorro, 32, was found apparently shot to death at the Red Roof Inn in the 4200 block of S. Bryant Blvd. on Sunday. They identified Mascorro on Monday in a press release.

According to the release, Mascorro was found by police just after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard officially pronounced Mascorro dead and an autopsy has been ordered.

Bystanders at the scene told San Angelo LIVE! he was shot twice.

Court records show Mascorro was approaching a September 16 trial date for manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance.

The investigation into Mascorro's murder is ongoing and no arrests have been made.

So just because someone has made a bad choice they are automatically a drug dealer. Get off your high horse and stop bashing someone who is no longer with us to defend their self.

That is someones family... How can a person be so heartless.. If you are calling someone trash tha passed away, you might as well include yourself.. Have some respect for the family.
