Two Teens Charged with Murder Following Tuesday Night Shooting

 

BIG SPRING, TX -- The Big Spring Police Department have charged two teens for the murder of Eric Pool. 

On June 18, BSPD were in the area of 15th and Settles on an unrelated call, when they heard screaming and crying coming from a subject.

Officers contacted the subject who advised that a male subject had appeared to have been stabbed inside a residence in the 1400 blk of Settles. Officers responded to the residence and located the victim, identified as Eric Pool w/m 21 years of age, inside with gunshot wounds and was deceased. 

According to CBS 7, the Big Spring Police Department, their Criminal Investigations Division was following several leads on the murder of Eric Pool when they identified the suspects as Gabriel Garcia, 17, and Dillon Holmes, 19.

The two were arrested and charged with murder on Sunday and are currently in the Howard County Jail. 

Police are still investigating the murder.
