Police K-9 "Duke" Catches Two Trying to Leave Drug Treatment Facility

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Police K-9 "Duke" tracked and found two individuals attempting to flee from Roy K. Robb Community Correctional Facility yesterday. 

On June 10 just before 10:00 p.m., a K-9 unity with the San Angelo Police Department were called in to assist Tom Green County Sheriff Deputies locate two men who had fled from the facility. 

The K-9, Duke, was released and led officers to a bush where 19-year-old James Anderson was laying in the foliage. Officers told Anderson multiple times to come out of the brush with his hands up and since he would not comply officers had no choice but to use Duke. 

Duke engaged and got Anderson out of the bush. Anderson was treated on scene for the bite and was then taken to the Tom Green County Jail. 

The second man 24-year-old Jamaukas Guidry was also hiding in the bushes but came out with no incident. 

The two were charged with unauthorized absence from a community correctional facility and their bond is set at $5,000.
