Two Arrested After Allegedly Strangling and Sexually Assaulting a Child

ABILENE, TX — Two men were arrested on Thursday after allegedly strangling, holding down a young girl, and then sexually assaulting her multiple times.

On May 30, the Abilene Police Department arrested Isaac Flores, 17 and Isaiah Cristan, 18, on a Search and Arrest warrant for sexual assault of a child.

Police say that Flores and Cristan allegedly contacted the victim on social media to try and get together. The two picked the girl up and took her back to their residence. While there the child was sexually assaulted multiple times in various bedrooms.

According to KTXS, She was allegedly strangled by Cristan during at least one of the assaults. Flores was reportedly holding her hands behind her back at the same time.

The two refused to speak with detectives during the arrest.

They are currently in the Taylor County Jail on a $125,000 bond.

"Children" usually don't arrange rendezvous with two teenage boys. On the other hand, naive teenaged girls do.

Social media are predominantly adult forums, and allowing people under the age of consent onto these forums is simply asking for trouble.

Most reasonable people wouldn't drop off a 14 year old at a singles bar, or a party of drunken college kids, yet some allow their kids free reign on social media, where they'll encounter people of all walks of life, criminal histories and ulterior motives.

As a child who was raised pre-internet, we were always told not to talk to, or leave anywhere with a stranger. If someone we didn't know called on the telephone, we gave out absolutely NO personal information, NO exceptions. We applied these lessons in everyday life, back when children still played outside and had personal encounters with people on a daily basis. Somehow or another, most of us managed to get through childhood without being raped or murdered.

Is this epidemic of young people being lured into risky situations by faceless entities on a computer screen the result of inattentive parents, or simply a surge of Darwin Award nominees, ill-suited for life outside of their desk chairs?

Nope its not too harsh...no matter how old the girl was or how inattentive her parents are what they did is sickening...kill um....2 kess. Losers in society
