Authorities, Family of Accused Child Predator Encourage More Victims to Come Forward

ABILENE, TX -- Authorities and family members of an accused child predator from Stamford are asking for more victims to come forward.

Russell Baize, 63, of Stamford, was arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor after Abilene Police say he messaged what he thought was a 15-year-old girl and offered to pay her for sex.

He was released on a $150,000 bond.

In an exclusive interview with KTXS, his daughter, Samantha Baize Creamer, asked the public to bring anymore cases to the attention of the authorities. Creamer said she didn't suffer sexual abuse at the hands of her father, but her step-sister did and that they've been trying to get help for years.

"I want to see him go to prison for a long, long time. I think that’s the only way children will be protected from him,” Creamer said to KTXS.

Abilene Police are asking the same from the public. In a Facebook post on Wednesday, APD encouraged anymore victims to speak out.

Anyone with information on any other possible cases of child sexual abuse by Baize is encouraged to call APD's Cyber Crimes Unit at (325) 676-6610 and reference Russell Alan Baize.
