Brownwood Man ID'd by DNA Mugshot Sentenced to Life in Prison

BROWNWOOD, TX – A Brownwood man who sexually assaulted a woman and then beat her to death pleaded guilty in court on Friday in exchange for a life sentence.

Ryan Riggs, 22, was charged with capital murder which is punishable by life in prison without parole or the death penalty.  The plea deal saved him from the getting put to death and he will now spend the rest of his life in state prison. He will also never be allowed parole.

According to reports, Rhonda Blankinship, 25, was last seen alive the night of May 13, 2016. Searchers found her body two days later in an abandoned cellar on isolated property in northern Brown County.

Riggs was found after a DNA phenotyping company developed a mug shot using only DNA. After the mugshot was released, Riggs told members of his church what had happened. Riggs was then taken to the Brown County Sheriff's Office where he confessed to them what he had done. He was then taken into custody.

Lock in a sock for this one on his first day. Please everyone look the other way.
He needs to talk to the devil and damn soon.
No more air for this horny punk.
The devil wants him bad.
He hung with this poor Lady at church and decided he had to have her.
I hope he gets tortured in hell for a 1000 years.
I will pray a demonrat low life judge don't let him loose.
And yes it can and has happened regardless of NO PAROLE.
