Search Warrant Yields Meth, Pot and Heroin Seizure at San Angelo Home

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- (SAPD Press Release) Investigators with the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division executed a Search Warrant at a residence located in the 500 block of West Avenue M on Monday.  

The warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace Fred Buck, named 42-year-old Clayton Grooms to be in possession of Heroin at the residence. 

Grooms was located inside and detained without incident along with 28-year-old Kayla Browne.  

Investigators located and seized a quantity of Heroin, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and packaging materials consistent with narcotics distribution. 

Grooms was charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 (Heroin) and State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1(Methamphetamine).  Browne was arrested and charged with Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana.  

The Department’s Patrol and Lake Divisions, K-9 Unit and the Center for Tactical Medicine assisted with today’s operation.
