Hatchet Wielding Burglary Suspect Arrested

 

ABILENE, TX – Abilene Police arrested a man for burglary after he kicked down an apartment door while holding a hatchet on Tuesday.

Baltasar Manuel Navejas, 34, arrived at an apartment complex and kicked in the door on Monday. The people who were inside felt threatened, so they called the police. Before they could arrive, Navejas fled the scene and was able to get away from police.

According to KTXS, Navejas came back on Tuesday and, "was causing another disturbance." Police showed back to the apartment, but Navejas was able to flee the scene. This time though the officer found Navejas hiding inside of a 7-Eleven

Navejas was charged with burglary, and his bond was set at $30,000.
