WARNING: Graphic Image - Teens Set Chicken on Fire

 

ABILENE, TX– The Abilene Police Department is currently investigating three teenagers who allegedly set a chicken on fire and posted a gruesome video on social media.

According to KRBC, Police found the video after it had been posted on social media on Jan. 22.

"A video surfaced on social media depicting the suspects lighting a fowl on fire on a county road and watching it burn to death," stated a Facebook post by APD. "The animal appears to have been doused with some type of accelerant. "

The department will continue their investigation as the suspects could face State Jail Felony Cruelty to Animal Livestock charges.
