Shoplifting and Pot Possession in a Crash Top Arrest Blotter

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Wednesday was a busy day for San Angelo Police.  There was a four vehicle crash at the busy intersection of Southland and Sherwood Way where 36-year-old Andrew Jay Stone was arrested for possession of marijuana after he crashed his pickup into three other vehicles.  Police administered a field sobriety test then searched his truck and found a small quantity of weed. 

26-year-old Taneshay Newsomer was arrested for theft at Target as police were investigating a report of shoplifting.  She was also charged with drug possession. 

Here is the San Angelo Police Department's arrest blotter for Wednesday. 

HIRSCHFELD, WILLIAM- age 22 was arrested for POSS MARIJ <2OZ in the 7400 block of Knickerbocker road.

NEWSOME, TANESHAY- age 26 was arrested for POSS CS PG 3 < 28G during a shoplifting investigation at Target. Newsome also received a citation for Class C Misdemeanor Theft.

STONE, ANDREW JAY- age 36 was arrested for POSS MARIJ <2OZ following a crash investigation at Southland and Sherwood Way.

WALLMAN, ZACHARY ALAN- age 18 was arrested for POSS MARIJ <2OZ after police were dispatched to the 5700 block of Stratford Court. Wallman also received a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

WILSON, GREGORY EUGENE, Jr.- age 21 was arrested for POSS MARIJ <2OZ during a traffic stop near W. Avenue Y and Hull Street.

We are still trying to get people released from 20 -30 year prison time for this very same thing.
Meanwhile people are skating around town doing meth and drive by shootings and hundreds of robberies and break ins.
The seizure most likely caused the wreck.
Total BS.
He may have a seizure again from being taken to jail.
This is not an arrest SAPD should be proud of IMO.
