Body Found in 20th St. Residence Identified

 

Update 10/10/18 3p.m.  A 52-year-old San Angelo man located deceased inside a residence on E. 20th Street Monday afternoon has been identified as Macario Perales of San Angelo.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, officers responded to the home shortly after noon on October 8, 2018. Justice of the Peace J. P McGuire responded and formally pronounced Perales deceased and ordered Perales’s body to be transported to Lubbock, Texas for autopsy.

Preliminary findings indicate Perales suffered a medical complication and narcotics overdose.

SAN ANGELO, TX-- Officers and detectives with the San Angelo Police Department are currently investigating at a house on E. 20th St.

Unconfirmed reports say they are investigating a death at the unit block of E. 20th street. San Angelo Police Public Information Officer Tracy Gonzalez said police were responding to an unconscious person call.

Crime scene tape went up around the house and the SAPD Criminal Investigations Division arrived.

The investigation found a 52-year-old man dead inside the house. Police said they have not determined the way the man died, so his body was transported to Lubbock of an autopsy.
