Street Crimes, DPS Make Drug Bust on San Angelo's Southeast Side

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— This Afternoon, members of the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division and Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations executed a Search and Arrest Warrant at a residence in the 700 block of West Avenue Z.  

The warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace Fred Buck, named 49-year-old Bernard Balderaz to be in possession of Methamphetamine at the residence.  

Balderaz and three adults were detained during the search, which resulted in the discovery and seizure of a quantity of Methamphetamine and paraphernalia associated with narcotics trafficking. 

Balderaz was arrested and charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1.  A second suspect, identified as Kimberly Aidala, 20, was arrested and charged with State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1.  

The Department’s K9 Unit and the Center for Tactical Medicine assisted with today’s operation.
