56-year-old San Angelo Man Caught with Child Porn Sentenced to 7 Years in Adult Prison

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- District Judge Brad Goodwin wasted no time Friday morning finding a 56-year-old San Angelo man guilty of three counts of possession of child pornography and sentenced him to seven years in prison.  

James Howard Young II was accused of possessing three “visual materials that he knew visually depicted a child under the age of 18 engaging in sexual conduct.”  The indictment describes in detail the acts visually depicted by the minors. San Angelo Live will not describe the details of those acts. .

Young was indicted buy a Tom Green County Grand Jury in its January 2017 term for three counts of  possession of child pornography.

Young was represented by court-appointed and taxpayer-paid attorney Thomas Williams.  

After Young’s sentence was pronounced, he was immediately taken into custody and taken from the Tom Green County Courthouse across the street to the Tom Green County Jail to begin his sentence.
