According to the police, three police reports were filed with them from anonymous “outraged citizens.” It was video surveillance footage that helped them identify the suspects, police said.

Police noted that the defacements of the art on the walls of the historic downtown San Angelo buildings included religious murals.

All four suspects face charges of State Jail Felony Criminal Mischief Graffiti. Police identified them as Zzyzx Benjamin Anglin, Jr., 18, Michael E. Combs,18, Brycen Canion, 19, and Ingrid Macias, 18.

Good journalism at work here!! I hope the rascals that did the painting know how to get it off! It is a shame to loose that art.

To ever make fun of a name, but Zzyx? Is that even a name? How do you pronounce that?

What happened to all of the paintings in that alley of Martin Luther and of Moses smashing a golden calf? It's weird, because now that this has happened, I'm not sure that any such paintings were ever there. Ever.

Huh.
