San Angelo Police Investigating Possible Pipe Bomb at Howard & Junius

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police and emergency personnel have blocked off the intersection of Junius and Howard Streets in west San Angelo today investigating a suspicious package at the Stripes store.

We are awaiting official word of what the suspicious package may be. There are unconfirmed reports of a possible pipe bomb located near the Red Box at the store.

Multiple police and emergency vehicles are in the area.

We will update this story when more information is available.
