San Angelo Police Update Stabbing on MLK Blvd.

SAN ANGELO, TX — (SAPD Press Release) At approximately 11:15 a.m. this morning, San Angelo Police and Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the area of West 18 and Martin Luther King Drive for the report of a stabbing.

The male victim, 31, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.  A male suspect, 42, was apprehended near the crime scene.

Detectives with the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene and hospital for follow up investigation and discovered the stabbing occurred following a verbal altercation.

This is an ongoing investigation and no further information is available.

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police are investigating a possible stabbing on MLK Blvd. and 18th streets.  

According to our reporter at the scene, one person was take by ambulance to the hospital after being stabbed on the street in front of a business near the intersection.  

The location is also near the Wesley Soup Kitchen.  No word yet on any suspects or arrests.
