Police: Kids Might Have Stolen Tip Jar from Burger Joint

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo police said the employee tip jar was stolen from the recently opened Grill-A-Burger at 1205 N. Chadbourne St. just after noon Tuesday.

Police said 9 kids escaped the Carver Learning Center by walking off the campus shortly before, and that raises their suspicion.

Police said students walking off the Carver campus has become a frequent occurrence.

While police work towards solving this problem, they suggest not leaving tip jars in areas accessible to thieves and to install security cameras.

Amazon has security camera systems for sale starting at just $89.95 with free shipping for Amazon Prime customers.

Police did not say how much money was in the burger joint’s tip jar.
