Manhunt Leads to Multiple Arrests

SAN ANGELO, TX-- Two people were arrested by the San Angelo Police Department following a manhunt Monday afternoon.

The manhunt began around 2:00 pm after SAPD was conducting a traffic stop on a Hyundai Elantra that failed to signal a turn.

The vehicle was previously seen at a suspected drug house, according to SAPD Officer Barker.

While Officer Barker was talking to the driver of the vehicle, he also asked the passenger for their identification. The passenger then fled car.

The suspect then entered a house, without consent, on the 3300 block of Travis Street. It is unknown why the suspect fled the scene. That suspect was arrested for evading detention.

The driver of the car was arrested for driving with a suspended license, having no insurance, and interference with public duties. The driver gave police the wrong name of the suspect that fled the car.
