Burglars Hit Vape Shop, Frozen Yogurt Store Early Monday Morning

SAN ANGELO, TX—Early Monday morning Lifted Smoke and Vape and T.J.'s Frozen Yogurt were broken into by burglars.

According to Lifted's owner Shaylen Ascol, the perpetrator got away with $200 cash and $1,500 in "tobacco water pipes" after gaining entry by busting out the window on the front door.

The store just had their grand opening on Saturday.

T.J.'s Frozen Yogurt was more fortunate when burglars tried to break into their store.

According to T.J.'s owner nothing was stolen from their store because the perp left the scene as soon as the alarm went off.

Much like Lifted, T.J.'s suffered a busted window.

There is no information as to whether or not these two incidents were related or not. We will update the story as the information becomes available.

How can anyone feel sorry for the smoke shop because I'm pretty sure that the amount of loss they suffered would have paid for the same alarm system that TJ's had, who didn't lose anything because the alarm did what they are supposed to do......
