Coleman Police: Largest Meth Seizure in Recent History

 

COLEMAN, TX — The Coleman Police Department reported the largest Methamphetamine seizures in its recent history late Wednesday. The seizures were the result of serving three warrants over the past week.

The first was at 416 W. 10th Street on Thursday, Aug. 31, which led to two subsequent search warrants on two storage buildings on Sept. 1, and two on Sept. 3.

During the warrant searches, officers seized over 16 pounds of Methamphetamine, multiple scales, packaging materials and drug paraphernalia. Officers also located several firearms, some of which were confirmed as stolen. 

Joe Louis Rosales Jr., 46, and Rhonda Kay Rosales, 45, were both arrested as a result. Joe Louis Rosales was filed on for Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Rhonda Kay Rosales was filed on for Manufacturing and Deliver of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone.

The Coleman Police Department was assisted in the execution of the warrant at 416 W. 10th by the Coleman County Sheriff’s Office, Runnels County Sheriff’s Office, Coleman Park Police and Coleman ISD Police, and by the Coleman County Sheriff’s Office during subsequent searches.
