SAN ANGELO, TX --Minutes before 10:00 p.m. San Angelo Police officers were dispatched to the area near Forrest Trail and Sunset Dr. for reports of a major motor vehicle accident.
While details are scarce at this time, the responding officer confirmed it was a single-vehicle accident that involved a motorcycle.
According to the officer the driver was transported in a private vehicle.
No information regarding the cause of the crash nor was information about what citations were given. Traffic was reduced in the area for approximately an hour.
While the extent of the injuries has not been confirmed at this time, the officer confirmed the driver refused to be transported via ambulance to be checked out at Shannon.
