Woman Injured in Crash with Car and Utility Pole

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – One person was taken to the hospital after a crash Thursday afternoon ended with an SUV hitting a utility pole.

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Rodriguez, a Honda CRV was attempting to leave a private parking lot near the intersection of Knickerbocker Rd. and Southland Blvd.

A Ford Explorer was southbound on Knickerbocker when the Honda crashed into the Ford. 

The crash sent the Honda into a utility pole.

Officer Rodriguez said the driver of the Honda was transported to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.

There was a young child in one vehicle who was checked out by paramedics and was treated at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation and no citations were issued at the scene.
