Driver Dies After His Head Hits a Tree in Freak Crash

 

BIG SPRING, TX — The Big Spring Police Department has confirmed the death of 40-year-old Aaron Rodriguez after he was involved in a fatal crash.

According to Big Spring PD, officers were called to a major crash at the Comanche Trail Park on Monday afternoon.

During their investigation officers determined Rodriguez was driving a white 2001 GMC Sierra Pickup southbound on Golf Course Rd. For an unknown reason, Rodriguez traveled off the main roadway with his head out fo the driver’s side window.

The victim's head struck a tree and he sustained significant head trauma. He later died of his injuries.
