UPDATE: Woman Identified in Fatal Crash Near Wall Tuesday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Texas Department of Public Safety troopers Wednesday identified the woman killed in a fatal crash Tuesday at the intersection of FM-2334 and FM-765 east of Wall.

According to the DPS, 71-year-old Elida Constancia Ramon of Menard, TX  was driving a white 2019 Jeep Cherokee northbound on FM-2334 and was killed in the crash.

The driver of a White 2017 Ford F-250 four door pickup, 52-year-old Charles Edward Winford of Millersview, TX, was eastbound on FM-765.

The crash report indicates Ramon disregarded the stop sign at the intersection and pulled into the path of the pickup.

As we reported Tuesday, both vehicles rolled several times and came to rest off the roadway. 

Tom Green County Justice of the Peace J.P. McGuire pronounced Ramon dead at the scene.

Winford was transported by ambulance to San Angelo Community Hospital with non incapacitating injuries.
