Ballinger Man Killed After Rolling SUV During a Storm

 

BRADSHAW, TX – A Ballinger man was killed after he rolled his 2018 Subaru Forester during a heavy rainstorm. 

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, on June 29, troopers were dispatched to to US-83 one mile south of Bradshaw in Taylor County for the report of a rollover crash. 

When the troopers arrived they found a 2018 Subaru Forester that had rolled over on the West side of the roadway. 

Inside the vehicle was 76-year-old Donald Raymond Fisher of Ballinger. Fisher was pronounced dead on the scene and his body was taken to the Abilene Professional Services. 

After further investigation troopers determined that the Forester was traveling South on US-83 during a heavy rainfall. The driver lost control after the Forester hydroplaned and slid off the West side of the roadway and rolled over. 

Fisher was wearing his seatbelt during the crash.
