Woman Killed In Kennel Fire

 

MIDLAND, TX — A structure fire at the Wag-N-Tail Pet Resort in Midland Saturday left one employee dead.

According to CB7, firefighters with the Midland Fire Department were dispatched to the resort on Highway 80 just before 6:00 p.m. 

Firefighters were able to put out the fire and during the search of the kennel, they found the body of the employee. The woman’s name has not been released at this time

All pets housed at the kennel were located and their owners have been notified. Four animals appeared to suffer from smoke inhalation and were taken to a pet hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
