Man Thrown Off Motorcycle Dies After Four Days in Hospital

 

ABILENE, TX – A Mississippi man died in the hospital Wednesday after he crashed his motorcycle into a curb in Abilene. 

According to KTXS, on Mar. 28, officers with the Abilene Police Department were dispatched to Westwood and North First St. for the report of a motorcycle crash. 

When they arrived they found a man who was lying in the middle of a street. The man was rushed to Hendrick Medical Center. He remained there for four days but died from his injuries on Wednesday. 

APD has determined that James Lee Park, 48, was riding his 2011 Harley Davidson Unlimited when he lost control and struck a curb. 

Park was wearing his helmet but it was dislodged during the crash.
