9-Year-Old Sent to Hospital After Being Hit With Parked Vehicle

 

ODESSA, TX – A nine-year-old boy sustained serious injuries after he was struck with a parked vehicle on Saturday afternoon.

According to CBS7, Jarrett Gray, 23, lost control of his Camaro as he was traveling at a high rate of speed on the 1300 block of East 36th Street.

He veered to the wrong side of the road and struck a parked vehicle, which in turn hit the young boy.

The victim was airlifted to a Lubbock hospital after having sustained serious injuries. Gray was arrested for reckless driving.

There are no further updates regarding the victim's condition.
