Woman Arrested After Fatal Hit and Run

 

ODESSA, TX – Joanna Ruiz, 41, has been charged with causing the death of 20-year-old Julian Molinar.

According to authorities, Molinar was struck by a vehicle when he was crossing the road. 

According to KTXS, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the site of the crash located on FM 2020 at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday where they found Molinar.

He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Through their preliminary investigation, DPS identified the vehicle involved in the accident and arrested the driver, Ruiz, for fleeing the scene of a crash.

Ruiz was then booked into the Ector County Jail with a $25,000 bond on a 2nd degree felony.

I think I've figured this out.... The reason San Angelo Live posts all these stupid click bait out of town news stories is simply to get people to click on the headlines. It doesn't matter if they do exactly what I do and close it without reading it because it's some out of town crap story that nobody wants to read or know about, but in fact, that click to open that headline gives San Angelo Live a count to boost their numbers to give a false record where they can show that thousands of people are reading their newspaper when in fact, there are only a handful of people who actually read the stupid news story when it opens.........
