Crash Backs Up Traffic on Houston Harte Tuesday Afternoon

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Traffic was backed up on west Houston Harte Tuesday afternoon after a driver lost control and crashed into a guard rail. 

San Angelo Police issued an advisory urging motorists to, "avoid 2600 W. Houston Harte westbound (near the Garfield Overpass) due to a traffic accident.  Westbound traffic was down to one lane." 

The driver of the white SUV failed to control speed according to San Angelo Police Officer Younts at the scene. 

The driver was issued a citation for failure to control speed. 

SAPD officers cleared the crash scene and opened up the roadway at 2:42 p.m.
