WATCH: Knickerbocker Road Crash Injures Two Drivers

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Two drivers were injured in a crash Friday morning at the intersection of Knickerbocker Rd. and University Ave.

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officers at the scene, a white Nissan Versa was westbound on Knickerbocker Rd. while a Ford pickup was eastbound on Knickerbocker Rd. attempting to turn left onto University Ave. 

The driver of the pickup turned left into the path of the Nissan which crashed into the pickup. 

The Nissan's airbags deployed as the front of the vehicle was heavily damaged.  

The pickup sustained little damage. 

The driver of the pickup went to the hospital with non life threatening injuries by private vehicle. 

The driver of the Nissan was treated at the scene.  

The pickup driver was cited for making an unsafe left turn.
