WATCH: Driver Taken to Shannon with Medical Condition After Striking Monument in Median

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A medical condition caused a car to go off the road on South Bryant Blvd. around lunchtime Friday.

A silver Nissan SUV was traveling north on Bryant where the road splits into Abe and Koenigheim when they drove into the median and hit the stone monument that greets drivers as they head into downtown.

No one was injured in the actual crash, but the driver was taken to Shannon with an undisclosed medical condition, San Angelo Police confirmed at the scene. 

No one was issued a citation, and no other vehicles were involved besides the Nissan.
