Driver Says She Dozed Off Sunday Afternoon as Her Small SUV Rolls

SAN ANGELO, TX — A witness at the scene said the female driver said she just fell asleep.

In the 900 block of E. Harris Ave., a small older model SUV hit a curb, then a mailbox, rolled over, and came to a rest right-side up. The driver was not seriously injured.

The lady ran up to her, the woman witness said, “She just said she fell asleep,” the witness relayed. The crash happened just before 5 p.m. Sunday. The roadway was dry and the weather partly cloudy.
