Wife Slams Her Brakes Causing Husband to Wipe Out on Motorcycle Behind Her

SAN ANGELO, TX — A motorcyclist wiped out on Loop 306 in the eastbound lanes between the College Hills and Knickerbocker exits just before 9 p.m. Thursday.

According to the San Angelo police, the wife was driving a white sedan with no driver’s license. Her husband was following behind her driving a motorcycle. He didn’t have a license, either.

For some reason, the wife hit the brakes on the car and the husband didn’t see it in time and slammed into the rear of his wife’s car.

It wasn’t a hard hit, witnesses said, and the car has no visible damage. The impact was enough for the husband to lose control and go flying off the bike onto the pavement at a fairly high speed. The speed limit on Loop 306 is 65 mph.

When we arrived, the husband motorcyclist was seen limping, but otherwise no serious injuries. He was loaded into an ambulance and rushed to an area hospital. Someone at the scene whispered, “road rash.”

While police investigated the crash, most lanes of the eastbound side of Loop 306 were blocked and traffic was backed up for miles.
