High Speed Chase Ends in Rollover Crash

 

ODESSA, TX -- A high speed chase ended in a rollover last night. 

On June 24, the Ector County Sheriff's Office attempted to pull over a driver but instead he fled. 

The chase ensued for a brief minute but came to an end near Meteor Crater Rd. after the driver lost control and rolled his car. After landing on the roof of the car the driver was able to exit the vehicle and continue running but was apprehended quickly. 

According to Newswest 9.The driver was identified as Kevin Hernandez. He was taken to a local hospital and was then taken to the Ector County Jail. 

He was charged with evading arrest and is still in the ECJ on a $25,000 bond.
