Two Injured in Friday Afternoon Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Two people were injured following a two-car crash in the 2000 block of Knickerbocker Rd. in front of Stadium Lanes on Friday.

Police say a grey passenger was trying to leave the private driveway in front of Stadium Lanes and pulled out onto Knickerbocker. He pulled out in front of a white Mercury Mountaineer heading eastbound despite looking both ways and saying he didn't see a car coming. The two cars collided in the middle lane.

The passenger car was occupied four times and the Mercury was occupied twice. Both passengers from the Mercury were transported to the hospital.

The driver of the passenger car was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
