SAN ANGELO, TX -- A woman and her child were injured in a high speed crash at the intersection of Ave. Q and S. Chadbourne St. Wednesday afternoon.
According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Welch, a silver Ford F-150 was eastbound on Ave. Q attempting to turn left onto S. Chadbourne.
The driver of the F-150 failed to yield the right of way and the pickup was driver's side by a Pontiac G-6 headed southbound on S. Chadbourne St.
The crash spun the F-150 around and off the roadway.

According to officer Welch, the female driver of the F-150 and her child were transported to Shannon with non life threatening injuries.
The driver of the F-150 will be cited for failure to yield the right of way and for no insurance.
